How To Never Fail Again!
SEEING FAILURE IS A FRIEND
Does “failure” get you down? Did you know that the most successful people have failed more than they have succeeded? Why? Because they see failure as a part of their of their success, so they get back up and keep going.
Failure is a friend that cares about you enough to nudge you, tell you when you are going the wrong way, and point you in the right direction. In this way, failure is an ally for success!
For many, failure means loss and they feel bad when it happens. For others, it indicates a step toward winning, by learning what not to do. The mistake is when people experience failure as if it is the end game, and then they ‘give up.’ But the problem is in the giving up, not in the failure itself.
“I’ve come to believe that all my past failure and frustration were actually laying
the foundation for the understandings that have created the new level of living I
now enjoy. ”
― Anthony Robbins
Successful people have to fail in order to succeed. They must sort through positive and negative experiences to find out the best path to take. Seeing failure as a messenger allows you to listen to what needs to change, and be reminded of the fact that you are making the effort necessary to have long term success.
Remember the old saying: “It’s not how hard you fall, it’s how many times you get back up?” Mistakes are great in this way because the more times you make them and get back on your feet, the greater will be your success in life! In fact, if you look back on all the BIG ‘failures’ in your life, it becomes clear the ways that these experiences ultimately helped you in your life. You may notice they made you stronger, wiser, more clear on your path!
So rather than be scared of mistakes and failures, be thankful for them and treat them as friends and helpers on your path to a greater life!
